Problems of professionally oriented english language teaching

Today Ukrainе is actively developing a state policy in the field of education – the
requirements for learning English are changing, training programs are being improved, the
experience of foreign higher educational institutions is being adopted, the convergence of
domestic and foreign universities is taking place within the framework of the modern
process. Currently, measures are being taken to develop and adopt state educational
standards for higher professional education in a competency-based format, the definitions
and classification of competencies, as well as their content, are being clarified.
