Abstract
The theoretical aspects of the evaluation of Ukrainian memoirs as a metagenre education are investigated. The genological features of the memoir text are determined. It is concluded that there are modifications of the literature of fact within the genre affiliation, which opens up the prospects for the clear, concrete historical study of the genological typology of memoirs.
