Abstract
According to the Law of Ukraine "On Waste", medical waste is classified as
hazardous. They cannot be disposed of in traditional landfills with other categories of
waste and solid waste. Clinical waste contains chemicals and microorganisms
hazardous to health, and can be a source of viral infections.
