Резюме

The main features of the formation of students' educationalinterests are analyzed; the need for learning a foreignlanguage as the most important tool for interculturalenrichment and personality formation is substantiated; thecomputer learning environment is considered as the basisfor the formation of intercultural communicativecompetence of high school students; a sample Internetproject used in the educational practice of the school isproposed. Current approaches to the problem areconsidered; a set of teaching techniques that can be usedat the English lessons with various age groups issuggested. Moreover, the latter can be adapted accordingto different language proficiency levels. The use of short-classroom language activities aimed at developingcreativity and critical thinking at the English lessons notonly helps improve students' use of language and theircommunication skills, but also help in forming interculturalcompetence.
