Abstract
The process of introducing information technologies into the activities of business entities and in the field of tourism faces a number of problems. First of all, these are weak informational communications. Most sites of tourist enterprises are used as an information and advertising channel, which provides current information that is constantly updated. Secondly, the insufficient level of training of information technology managers and low information literacy when installing software. Thirdly, the majority of Ukrainian tourist enterprises provide incomplete information to clients on their websites about the location of the hotel or boarding house, as well as information about the cost of services is often outdated and inaccurate. Fourth, significant shortcomings in the system of booking and reserving hotel rooms. The system of room reservation has become the most widespread, when a tourist rents a room in a hotel (four-, three- or five-star - as indicated in the price), but does not know the name of this hotel until his arrival. Fifth, the lack of a state electronic system for providing tourism operators with operational information about demand, supply, prices, tariffs, etc.
