Резюме
The purpose of higher geographical education is the professional formation of a socially mobile and responsible graduate, able to successfully work in the field of geographical knowledge and practices, ready to continue education and engage in innovative activities based on the acquisition of universal and professional competencies. Competence should be understood as an integral quality of personality, the ability to solve problems based on knowledge, experience, motivation and values. Competence approach allows to develop criteria for assessing the quality of education in general, as well as to assess the success of the student's development of various educational tasks
