Abstract
Ecological monitoring of aerotechnogenic pollution of the Melitopol urban system should be carried out according to a two-level system of analysis of the structure of the urban area [2; 3; 6-8]. The city of Melitopol is a complex system with different parts, which are interconnected. Therefore, the establishment of some sources of pollution of individual components of the urban environment does not reflect the full picture of the ecological state of the urban system. In addition, the environmental monitoring procedure must be feasible. This is achieved through the selection of a large array of indicators of a number of key parameters that reflect the ecological state of the city [9; 14; 15].
