Резюме
The issues of improving the process of teaching students the skills of wrestling in higher education institutions of non-sports profile are currently insufficiently developed. The lack of research work, manuals, guides on the organization of physical education on the example of freestyle wrestling, sets the task of defining and justifying organizational and methodological approaches in the process of teaching freestyle wrestling in physical education, affecting the effectiveness of physical culture and sports activities of students. In the organization of physical education of students of higher education institutions there are the following contradictions between: the need to increase the effectiveness of physical education of students in order to maintain high health, physical development, efficiency and real reduction of physical activity due to intensification of educational activities; insufficient research of new, modern approaches in the organization of physical education of students of higher education institutions on the basis of sports and the prospects of organizing physical culture and sports activities on the basis of wrestling.
